My name is Riz. Welcome to my blog of stupidity, a collection of reasons why I should not be allowed near computers.
There's probably going to be lots of show stuff, like Spartacus, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Xena, A:TLA/Legend of Korra... etc. Also, there will be some comic book stuff because I love comic books. Beware unhealthy amounts of fanturding and posting spam whenever a new episode of a show comes out.
Also, lots of music.
Sometimes I'll post sketches and stuff, but probably not often since that's mostly on a separate blog. The only drawings I'm posting here will probably be related to Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra C= Kthnxbai <3

Post with 1 note
Is it weird that I’m looking for apartments in New York? Anyone know of ones that allow pets?
The Audire Soundtrack Choir, along with a guest recording by Dante Basco, recorded this arrangement of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra music!
this is amazing…
And the Waltz Goes On - Anthony Hopkins
Sir Anthony Hopkins Hears The Waltz He Wrote 50 Years Ago For The First Time
Academy Award-winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins was a musician before he got into acting. 50 years ago he wrote a waltz but was too afraid to ever hear it play. Dutch violinist André Rieu performs it for the very first time. Watch Hopkins’ reaction.
That was beautiful
I cried a few tears and felt better about humanity’s endeavors.
on a side note: look at how fun classical music can be
Good lord that was amazing.
never forget April O’Neil started out as a black woman
WHY AM I JUST NOW FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS!?!?!
The above are from Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #7, which was published in 1989. April O’Neil was intended by Eastman to appear differently, this is true. Here is an excerpt from Eastman’s Artobiography:
"Originally created as an "Asian" character in Pete’s notes, but named after an "African American" woman I once knew, the character of April O’Neil was introduced in issue #2, and would have a bunch of different "looks" throughout the TMNT history."(Artobiography, 32)
Eastman supposedly chose her first name based on a woman he was dating at the time named April, referenced in the Artobiography above. Laird, however, will certainly insist that she was always intended to be a white woman with red hair, possibly indicated by the choice of surname. People often debate that her appearances in the first few issues maker her appear ethnically ambiguous due to the grey tones of the comic and the varying hairstyle changes that April O’Neil undergoes in the first issues. This and the fact that Eastman and Laird have different accounts on her history.
Regardless, at least half the team will tell you she was not intended to be white.
But I don’t know. I could be wrong. My mind is fuzzy when it comes to TMNT history. So loooong ago.
